IT Networking Engineer

Job Description

Role Overview We are looking for a technically skilled IT Networking Engineer to set up, maintain, and troubleshoot internal networks and client-side systems. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operation of networks, handle installations, provide technical support, and document IT assets and configurations. Key Responsibilities ● Install and configure computer networks, routers, switches, and firewalls ● Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN performance issues ● Set up printers, workstations, CCTV systems, and biometric devices ● Perform software and hardware upgrades ● Ensure security via access controls, firewalls, and antivirus updates ● Maintain asset inventory and update network documentation ● Provide remote support to clients or team members ● Visit client sites (within Goa or nearby) for installations or issue resolution ● Coordinate with developers and web teams for hosting/network setups Technical Skills Required ● Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, LAN/WAN setups ● Hands-on experience with routers (Mikrotik, Cisco, etc.) and firewalls ● Basic knowledge of server setups (Windows/Linux) ● Familiarity with system formats, OS reinstallation, and backups ● Experience in handling IP cameras, biometric devices, and IT peripherals ● Knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365 setup is a plus ● Basic knowledge of web hosting, cPanel, or domain/DNS setup is a bonus Requirements ● Diploma or Degree in IT/Computer Engineering or related field ● 1–3 years of relevant work experience (field or in-house) ● Strong problem-solving and time management skills ● Willingness to travel locally (for client installations or troubleshooting) ● Good documentation habits and communication skills What We Offer ● Exposure to diverse IT environments – software, web, and infrastructure ● Learning and career growth with experienced tech teams ● Travel allowances for client site visits ● Performance-based incentives and bonuses ● Flexible and supportive work culture Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month Benefits: Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Supplemental Pay: Commission pay Performance bonus Experience: Computer networking: 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
