Job description

Responsible for legal compliance and implementation of the standards all across the organization. Develop and implement policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment including the tactical deployment of EHS strategy, systems, training, risk management processes, responsible for accidents & incidents investigation, incident prevention and management, and emergency preparedness,

This role ensures alignment with ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety),

Areas of Responsibility

  • Develop and implement HSE policies, SOPs, and management systems in alignment with company goals and legal regulations.
  • Ensure statutory compliance related to Safety, Health & Environment under applicable laws (Factories Act, Environment Protection Act, etc.).
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across the site/project locations.
  • Lead incident/accident investigations and ensure timely closure of CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
  • Develop and conduct HSE training and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and workers.
  • Coordinate with all stakeholders including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies regarding HSE matters.
  • Ensure emergency preparedness by conducting regular mock drills, safety campaigns, and toolbox talks.
  • Maintain and analyze HSE data, generate reports, and present them to management.
  • Drive behavioral safety and safety culture across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in heavy industrial sectors like Mining, Power, Cement, Oil & Gas, or Infrastructure Projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Quality Management (ISO 9001)
  • Implement and maintain QMS documentation, SOPs, and quality control workflows
  • Health & Safety Oversight (ISO 45001)
  • Conduct safety risk assessments, incident investigations, and lead awareness training
  • Develop emergency preparedness plans and enforce PPE and safety protocols
  • Audit & Training Management
  • Reporting & Performance Tracking
  • Present QHSE performance in monthly/quarterly reviews

Required Skills/ Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Environmental safety, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required; Masters degree desirable.
  • Certifications in QHSE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
