Job Description

Sales Head

Key Responsibilities

:
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with Owsho’s expansion goals.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team including field salesmen and executives.
  • Set clear monthly/quarterly targets for team members and monitor performance regularly.
  • Drive sales of vendor subscription packages by planning city-level sales campaigns and vendor onboarding drives.
  • Track KPIs like conversion rate, revenue per executive, and subscription closure ratios.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to support lead generation and outreach initiatives.
  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor execution, support salesmen, and resolve vendor queries.
  • Maintain CRM dashboards, sales reports, and performance analytics.
  • Build channel partnerships and local alliances to scale presence in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or B2B marketplace.
  • Strong team management experience with field-force.
  • Proven track record of delivering sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and people management skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire field teams to perform under pressure.
