Position Title: General Manager – Operations Location: Wagle Estate, Thane Reporting To: Director / Senior Leadership Industry: Industrial Machinery, Assemblies & Customized Equipment Manufacturing Experience Required: 20+ Years Gender Preference: Male Working Days: Monday to Saturday Weekly Off: Sunday About the Company A leading manufacturer of Industrial Machinery, Assemblies, Parts, and Customized Equipment, the company specializes in export-quality, heavy-duty fabricated components for OEMs. Educational Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering (Mandatory) MBA or Postgraduate Degree in Operations Management (Preferred) Experience Minimum 20 years in manufacturing or engineering industries At least 5 years in a senior leadership role, overseeing operations Key Responsibilities Lead and manage day-to-day operations to ensure departmental efficiency and organizational productivity Oversee the complete lifecycle of projects — from tendering to delivery — ensuring timely execution and profitability Collaborate with design, procurement, and production teams to align goals and schedules Ensure adherence to quality systems , customer specifications, and compliance standards Drive continuous improvement initiatives in processes, productivity, and resource utilization Establish and track performance metrics, KPIs , and profitability indicators Liaise with top management to ensure alignment between operational execution and strategic business objectives Supervise after-sales services , including installation, commissioning, warranty handling, and AMC support Lead implementation of ERP systems , manual and automated workflows for manufacturing operations Champion initiatives for productivity, quality, and lead-time improvements; assess in-house processes and optimize resource utilization Key Skills & Competencies Proven track record in handling large-scale fabrication or industrial machinery projects Strong knowledge of OEM standards , public sector tendering , and project-based manufacturing workflows Excellent leadership, communication , and decision-making skills Proficiency in operational systems , manufacturing technology, and ERP implementation Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Education: Doctorate (Preferred) Experience: Manufacturing Organizations: 5 years (Preferred) Location: Wagle Estate, Thane, Maharashtra (Preferred) Work Location: In person Expected Start Date: 16/06/2025
