Epsilon Carbon Private Limited (ECPL) established in 2010 with the aim to become the partner of choice in the carbon black and specialty carbon market. Headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Epsilon Carbon is India’s first fully integrated carbon black facility, spanning across 165 acres in Karnataka, with additional strategic facilities operating in Odisha and Chhattisgarh. The Carbon Black facility has an annual capacity of 215,000 TPA, while the Specialty Carbon (Coal Tar Distillation) facility has capacity of 320,000 TPA.

Meanwhile, Epsilon Advanced Materials Pvt. Ltd. established in 2018, is dedicated to sustainable and high-performance anode & cathode battery materials, pioneering India's first graphite anode material plant and making strategic global investments, including in North Carolina and Finland. With a recent foray into lithium-ion phosphate (LFP) based Cathode Active Material business, all aimed at supporting the global battery industry and contributing to sustainable development, truly exemplifying its motto to Energize the World.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic candidate for Equity Raise to join our team in the chemical manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing equity financing activities, working closely with investors, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders to raise capital. This role demands deep expertise in equity markets, financial analysis, and investment strategies.


Key Responsibilities (Job Details)

  1. Identify and evaluate potential equity investment opportunities in line with the company’s investment strategy and objectives.
  2. Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective investments, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment.
  3. Ensure all equity fundraising activities comply with relevant securities and exchange regulations. This includes overseeing the preparation of legal documents and filings required for equity issues.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with a network of investors, including institutional investors, private equity firms, investment banks, family offices, financial institutions and high-net-worth individuals. The role includes preparing and presenting financial information, business plans, and growth strategies to investors and stakeholders
  5. Lead financial planning activities related to equity raising, including valuations, financial modeling, and scenario analysis to determine the impact on the company’s financial structure and shareholder value.
  6. Prepare and present investment proposals and pitch materials to prospective investors, highlighting the value proposition and potential returns of the investment opportunity.
  7. Negotiate terms and structures of equity investments, including valuation, ownership stakes, governance rights, and exit strategies.
  8. Coordinate and manage the equity raising process, including legal documentation, regulatory compliance, and closing transactions.
  9. Monitor and track the performance of existing equity investments, providing regular updates to investors and stakeholders.
  10. Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, investor sentiment, competitor strategies and regulatory changes that may impact equity raising activities.
  11. Act as a key spokesperson for the company in financial markets, enhancing the company’s profile and brand among investors and within the broader financial community.
  12. Monitor the performance of the company's equity in the market and report to senior management and the board of directors. This includes providing insights on how equity market movements and investor perceptions can impact the company.
  13. Work closely with other departments such as finance, legal, marketing, and operations to ensure a coherent approach to equity raising that aligns with the company’s overall strategy and operational goals.
  14. Lead and develop the equity raising team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to effectively support the company’s objectives.


Knowledge / Skill / Abilities

  1. Strategic Planning and Execution: Experience in strategic planning, financial modelling, and executing long-term financial strategies is crucial. This includes the ability to develop and implement equity raising strategies that align with the company's overall growth objectives.
  2. Regulatory Knowledge and Compliance: A deep understanding of the regulatory environment related to securities and equity raising, including compliance with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and other regulatory bodies, is necessary.
  3. Networking and Relationship Building: Given the importance of investor relations, candidates must have strong networking skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders in the financial community.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills are critical, as the role involves explaining complex financial information and strategies to stakeholders, including the board of directors, investors, and company executives.


Qualification : Any Graduate with management degree preferred.


Experience : 10 - 15 Yrs.
