Role Overview:

As a Fullstack Developer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping PiePay’s user experience with a major focus on frontend development. You'll build, optimize, and scale a high-performance frontend application and a scalable backend server, directly impacting millions of users. Working alongside our IIT Madras alumni founders, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of key product features in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain React.js & React Native applications taking complete ownership from development to deployment.
• Ensure smooth deployments over Play Store & App Store and maintain OTA updates.
• Ensure responsive and high performing applications.
• Integrate designs from Figma, ensuring pixel-perfect UI/UX.
• Architect comprehensive system designs, develop efficient database schemas and REST APIs that support future scaling.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines while upholding high-quality development standards throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with backend and design teams.
• Proactively troubleshoot and fix bugs and production issues to maintain optimal application.

Requirements:

• Min. 2+ years of fullstack development experience with at least 1 year in React Native.
• Strong knowledge of React Native, NodeJS, JavaScript, TypeScript and MongoDB.
• Experience with Android/iOS development principles and deployment processes.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science or related field.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with automation tools like Playwright and Puppeteer.
• Experience with React Native Performance Optimization.
• Understanding of React Native bridge, Java/Swift, Xcode, and Android Studio.
• Familiarity with best security practices for B2C applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Availability to join immediately.
