Role Description

.NET Software Engineer

This freelance role requires someone who can independently analyze requirements, write high-quality code, ensure system reliability, and contribute actively to both new development and maintenance of legacy systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable

    RESTful APIs

    and

    microservices

    based on business requirements.
  • Work on both

    web-based and Windows applications

    using

    C#/VB.Net

    ,

    SQL Server

    ,

    LINQ

    , and

    JQuery

    .
  • Utilize

    API testing tools

    like

    Postman

    ,

    Swagger

    , and follow

    OpenAPI standards

    .
  • Implement

    authentication and authorization

    mechanisms using

    OAuth

    ,

    JWT

    , and other API security best practices.
  • Follow modern development practices with

    Git

    ,

    CI/CD pipelines

    , and

    code version control

    .
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards and quality assurance.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues and application incidents.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to deliver technical solutions aligned with business needs.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years

    of experience in software development, focusing on API and application development.
  • Proficiency in:

  • C#/VB.Net

  • Visual Studio .Net

  • SQL Server

  • LINQ

    ,

    JSON

    ,

    JQuery

  • Hands-on experience with:

  • API design & development

  • API testing tools

    (Postman, Swagger)

  • Secure API implementation

    (OAuth, JWT)
  • Familiarity with

    version control systems

    (Git) and

    CI/CD tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with

    cloud platforms

    (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for API deployment and management.
  • Knowledge of
