We are hiring a Safety Officer with a minimum of 8 years of experience to oversee health and safety operations at our Steel Godown Yard in Cheranalloor ., and Shipyard The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and promoting best practices in handling and storing steel materials. Key Responsibilities: Compliance with Safety Regulations Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ISM Code, SOLAS, etc.) Maintain up-to-date knowledge of maritime and shipyard safety laws and ensure policies reflect them. * 2. Risk Assessment & Hazard Identification Conduct regular risk assessments and job safety analyses (JSA).
