Freelance Textile Print Designer – Women's Westernwear Freelance / Project-based ~ (Remote) About Us: We are a 20-year-old women’s western wear brand based in New Delhi, known for our refined silhouettes, quality craftsmanship, and seasonally relevant collections. With a growing retail and e-commerce presence, we are looking to expand our design depth through strong, fresh, and brand-aligned print stories.(Check out our current collection on https://gipsyonline.com/) What We’re Looking For: We are seeking a freelance textile print designer who can conceptualize and create contemporary, trend-driven, and original prints aligned with our brand’s design language. Responsibilities: Develop digital all-over prints , engineered placements, borders, and motifs for apparel collections (mainly tops, dresses, coords, etc.). Translate mood boards and seasonal inspirations into print concepts. Work closely with the in-house design team to meet design and commercial objectives. Deliver print files in industry-ready formats (repeat/technical files, layered PSDs, colour-separated files). Stay updated with fashion trends, print forecasts, and fabric compatibility . Requirements: 7+ years of experience in textile print design (apparel-focused preferred). Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Knowledge of repeat creation, colour separation, and scale matching is essential. Strong understanding of different print techniques (digital, screen, rotary) and their limitations. Portfolio showcasing print work for women’s apparel – boho, floral, abstract, conversational, or textured prints will be a plus. Ability to manage timelines and revisions independently. Nice-to-Have Knowledge of women’s western wear trends. Experience working with renowned designer labels or export houses.
