Events Manager

Office Location:

Duraisamy Road, T Nagar, Chennai

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Events Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events that support the foundation’s mission, enhance community engagement, and promote awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute a variety of events, including fundraisers, community outreach programs, seminars, and workshops.
• Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, and partners to secure event services and resources.
• Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and technical setup.
• Work closely with the communications team to promote events through various channels and increase attendance.
• Manage event registration processes and ensure a smooth check-in experience for participants.
• Monitor and evaluate event success, gathering feedback and analyzing performance metrics to improve future events.
• Develop and implement event policies and procedures to ensure compliance and high standards of execution.
• Collaborate with the development team to align events with fundraising goals and donor engagement strategies.
• Prepare detailed event reports and post-event summaries for the leadership team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event planning and management, preferably in the non-profit or healthcare sector.
• Proven track record of successfully organizing and managing large-scale events.
• Fluency in English and Tamil.

Skills:

• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using event management software and tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Additional Requirements:

• Experience with budgeting and financial management for events.
• Knowledge of local vendors, venues, and community resources.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
