Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) – Business Head

Location: Hyderabad

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) – Business Head to lead and establish an omnichannel business. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with 2-4 years of experience in Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) businesses who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The candidate will be responsible for setting up the business, driving growth, and scaling operations.

The initial setup phase (six months) will focus on market research, strategy development, financial planning, and team formation. Post-launch, the EIR will take full ownership of execution, growth, and profitability.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify opportunities, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop a comprehensive business strategy aligned with omnichannel growth objectives.
  • Define the business model, revenue streams, and go-to-market plan.


Financial & Operational Management

  • Oversee costing, budgeting, and financial planning to ensure profitability.
  • Set up key operational processes, including supply chain, logistics, and customer experience.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and optimize business efficiency.


Team Building & Leadership

  • Hire, train, and manage a high-performing team across different functions.
  • Foster a results-driven culture with a strong focus on execution and growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technology, marketing, sales) to drive success.



Growth & Sales Expansion

  • Develop and execute customer acquisition strategies to drive sales.
  • Optimize the omnichannel experience across digital platforms, marketplaces, and offline touchpoints.
  • Identify and implement partnerships for business expansion.


Compensation & Growth Opportunities:


  • Fixed salary during the initial phase.
  • Incentive structure based on sales and business performance.
  • ESOP Eligibility:
  • After one year, the candidate becomes eligible for Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs).
  • ESOP activation is tied to revenue realization milestones.
  • Additional ESOPs may be granted upon securing external investments.
