About the role
Name of the position: Engine Design Engineer
Educational Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech in Mechanical
Purpose of the Role:
  • Design of powertrain components
  • To Conduct failure analysis and arrive counter measures
  • To conduct CAD layout review and resolve interface issues
  • To release design and conduct design reviews
  • Benchmarking
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Good experience in CREO / CATIA in 3D/2D and assembly and interface handling for powertrain
  • Good basic knowledge in design and design calculation
  • Knowledge on PLM software like PTC windchill
  • Conduct DFMEA / DFM / DFA / DFS
  • Conduct benchmarking and arrive design insights
  • Identify quality, cost and weight gap against targets
  • Study product definition and prepare design input sheet
  • Knowledge on intellectual property (IP)
