Job Profile: Electrical Testing Engineer Job Title: Electrical Testing Engineer Responsibilities: Conduct electrical testing and inspection of electrical systems, equipment, and components to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards. Develop and execute test plans and procedures for electrical devices and systems. Analyze test data and prepare reports documenting test results, findings, and recommendations for corrective actions. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during the testing phase. Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and tools to ensure accuracy and reliability. Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning of electrical systems. Participate in project meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering field (may vary based on company requirements). Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Electrical Testing Technician) are a plus. Experience in electrical testing and hands-on experience with testing equipment. Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical theory, testing methods, and equipment. Proficient in using testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and insulation testers. Analytical skills for troubleshooting and problem-solving. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Proficient in using hand and power tools related to electrical work. Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Basic knowledge of safety practices and electrical codes.
