Role Description

Ecommerce Manager



Key Responsibilities

1. Ecommerce Platform Management

  • Oversee end-to-end operations of the ecommerce store(s), including Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or custom platforms.
  • Ensure website content, product listings, pricing, and promotions are consistently up to date.
  • Optimize site speed, UI/UX, mobile responsiveness, and checkout flow.

2. Digital Strategy & Sales Growth

  • Develop and execute online sales strategies to achieve revenue and ROI targets.
  • Plan and manage ecommerce campaigns (sales, seasonal promotions, new launches).
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on SEO, SEM, paid social, and email marketing campaigns.

3. Performance Marketing

  • Coordinate with performance marketing teams/agencies to optimize CAC, ROAS, and LTV.
  • Track and improve conversion rates, AOV, bounce rates, and cart abandonment metrics.

4. Marketplace Management

  • Manage listings and performance on platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, etc.
  • Monitor ratings, reviews, inventory, and compliance across all marketplaces.

5. Customer Experience & Retention

  • Oversee the customer journey from landing to purchase to post-sale support.
  • Manage customer feedback, returns, support tickets, and improve NPS.
  • Work with CRM teams to implement retention strategies (e.g., loyalty programs, email flows).

6. Inventory, Logistics & Tech Coordination

  • Ensure seamless coordination with the supply chain/logistics team for order fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with tech teams to resolve website bugs or implement new features.

7. Analytics & Reporting

  • Use tools like Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and Meta Ads Manager to track key performance metrics.
  • Generate weekly/monthly reports and provide actionable insights.



Qualifications

  • Proficient in business negotiation and sales skills
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate sales data and trends
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Experience in ecommerce management, particularly in the wellness sector, is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
