Role: Department Head/ Sr Manager (Mechanical)

Location: Manesar

Experience: 15+ yrs

Primary Skill: Mechanical Design (Automotive)

Required Skill Sets:

 Strong proven experience in delivering automotive products from design to manufacturing including Infotainment, ADAS and HPC products

2) Strong knowledge in providing solutions to products including proposal making

3) Proven experience working with various streams including Hardware, Software and Project Management

4) Strong Knowledge & experience in FMEA, DVP, DFM, DFA, GD&T, CAD, CAE & PLM

 Expertise in Product Engineering, Product Design & Development, Innovations,NPD (New Product Development), and Program Management for both OEMsand Component Manufacturers.

 Proven ability to establish and lead a highly competent engineering team, delivering end-to-end product development with effective risk mitigation strategies.

 Extensive experience in the entire lifecycle of mechanical products, covering:

o Pre-Conceptualization & Concept Design

o Material Selection & Prototyping

o FEA Simulation, Testing & Validation

o Tooling Development & Process Engineering

o Industrialization & VAVE (Value Analysis & Value Engineering)

 Strong knowledge and experience in:

o FMEA (Failure Mode & Effects Analysis)

o DVP (Design Verification Plan)

o DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturing/Assembly)

o GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)

o CAD/CAE/PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)

 Expertise in Plastics, Sheet Metal, FRP, Rubber, and Die-Cast parts.

 Experience in competency development, people management, and best practice implementation.

 Knowledge of agile and rapid prototyping techniques to meet tight project deadlines.

 Strong collaboration with production, manufacturing teams, and vendors to ensure timely, effective, and reliable designs.

 Ability to work closely with hardware design teams.

 Deep understanding of:

o Molding, casting, and machining processes.

o Design for rugged, outdoor, cost-effective, and long-life products.

o Thermal management, RF shielding, and EMI/EMC shielding.

 Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks (Knowledge of graphic design tools and

simulation software is an advantage).

 Familiarity with industry standards and product certification processes.

 Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
