Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Design Management Coordination for all disciplines along with the sub-consultants
- Ensure Technical Design quality is implemented as per the client brief.
- Ensure Requirements and Codal Compliance
- Collaborate with Cost Consultants (where needed) to ensure emerging designs are meeting budget targets.
- Manage Design management trackers and registers:
- Assumptions, Issues, Design Change & Decisions Register
- Resource Register / RFI Register
- Creation of Monthly Design Report
- Follow up and implement comments and responses during design review
Responsibilities
- Guide SME reviewing designs, and ensure that project requirements are met
- Sharing weekly reports and risk registers
- Participation in all design workshops for assigned projects
- Coordination with internal discipline leads, vertical leads, etc
- Enlisting all required dwgs, documentation on a project and delivery tracking
- Ensuring the Design schedule is integrated with the PM schedule and effectively tracked
- Taking a step back and looking at the project, highlight necessary escalations and take steps to ensure deliverables are on track
- Prepare a client signed off value management sheet
- Participate and steer all value engineering workshops
- Collaborate with internal discipline leads on all potential value engineering avenues
- Reviewing of all concept drawings / involve in concept closure
- Detailed review of tendering stage. Adequate evidence to show the involvement
- Detailed review of GFC stage. Adequate evidence to justify required
- Budget / estimate in sync with design. Validate from CC where possible
- Arrange and/or facilitate design coordination and design review meetings and workshops
- Coordination with Client's stake holders and raising red flags for delays in decisions from clients
- Coordination with Principal consultant (SMEs) and raising red flags for delays in deliverables / decisions from them.
- Coordination with other consultants (SMEs) and raising red flags for delays in deliverables / decisions from them.
- Design Management Coordination, including Process design
- Quality Assurance of design and implementation of the vision
- Manage compliance with Design and Deliverables Requirements and Design KPIs
- Manage Design KPI Register, Risk Register, and Safety in Design Register
- Manage Design Review comments and responses, and Stage Review comment close-out
- Manage the design in accordance with the development program and stakeholder requirements
- Design Review: Gatekeeper for the qualitative architectural design review
- Deep diving into technical details and leading problem resolution as needed.
- Creating, submitting, and tracking relevant Capex documentation.
- Responsible as part of the Senior Design Management team for project delivery, including stakeholder engagement, both internally and externally
