Deputy General Manager - Sales

The Deputy General Manager (DGM) – Sales will be responsible for driving the company’s sales strategy, managing regional/national sales operations, leading high-performing teams, and achieving revenue growth targets. The role demands strategic planning, exceptional leadership, and deep market insight to expand customer base and market share.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and expand customer base.
• Lead and manage regional/national sales teams; set performance objectives and ensure accountability.
• Identify new business opportunities and high-value customer segments.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and partnerships to support long-term growth.
• Conduct regular market research to monitor competition and market trends; provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales initiatives with branding and lead generation efforts.
• Ensure effective use of CRM tools for pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs; prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Support budgeting, pricing strategies, and negotiation with key clients and accounts.
• Recruit, train, and mentor team members to build a results-driven culture.

Compensation:

As per industry standards and experience. Includes fixed + performance-based variable pay.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
