Deputy Director, Finance

The ideal candidate should have experience managing multi-country operations, preferably with an accounting background and demonstrated "0 to 1" experience — having worked in a company that has scaled from inception to early growth.

Key Responsibilities :

§ Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely financial statements, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flows, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.

§ Budgeting & Forecasting: Own the budgeting and forecasting processes, aligning financial plans with strategic business objectives and market realities.

§ Internal Controls: Design, implement, and continuously enhance financial controls and risk management frameworks across all operational geographies.

§ Audit & Compliance: Manage relationships with external auditors and oversee smooth execution of annual audits. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

§ Tax & Transfer Pricing: Oversee global tax filings and reporting, while establishing and maintaining compliant and effective transfer pricing policies across entities.

§ AI & Automation Initiatives: Champion the adoption of AI-driven tools and process automation within the finance function to increase accuracy and efficiency.

§ ERP Ownership: Leverage Zoho Books and related tools to streamline financial processes; lead continuous system optimization efforts.

§ Cross-border Coordination: Collaborate with multiple external accounting agencies across the UK, UAE, USA, and other markets to ensure cohesive financial operations.

§ Leadership & Team Development: Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals. Foster a high-performance, accountable culture and support team development.
