Job Description

Role: Process & Data Analyst Skill Set Requirement: 4 A Process & Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to help the organization make more informed decisions, while also focusing on optimizing business processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational performance. Technical Skills: Data Visualization & Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas, and data validation. Proficiency in tools such as Tableau is Plus. Core Skills: Process Mapping & Modelling: Proficiency in tools and methodologies for creating detailed process flowcharts, value stream maps (VSM), and business process models (BPMN). Business Process Re-engineering (BPR): Experience in analysing existing processes, identifying bottlenecks, and redesigning them for optimal performance. Data Collection & Analysis: Ability to gather relevant process data (e.g., cycle times, error rates, resource utilization) and use it for quantitative analysis. Lean Six Sigma Principles: Understanding and practical application of Lean (e.g., waste reduction) and Six Sigma (e.g., defect reduction, DMAIC) methodologies. Certification is a significant advantage. Requirements Gathering: Skilled in eliciting, documenting, and validating business requirements from various stakeholders. Project Management Fundamentals: Basic understanding of project management principles to lead or support process improvement initiatives. Soft Skills: Analytical & Critical Thinking: The ability to break down complex problems into manageable parts, derive actionable insights from data, and objectively evaluate processes to identify inefficiencies and propose effective solutions. Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying issues and developing data-driven solutions. Attention to Detail: Meticulous in data handling to ensure accuracy and reliability. Curiosity & Learning Agility: A strong desire to explore data, ask relevant questions, and continuously learn new techniques and technologies. Communication & Presentation: Strong ability to articulate complex process issues and proposed solutions to diverse audiences. Interpersonal Skills: Aptitude for collaborating with cross-functional teams, facilitating workshops, and managing stakeholder expectations. Change Management: Awareness of strategies to manage resistance to change and facilitate smooth transitions to new processes. Organizational Skills: Excellent ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
