Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically sound Data Entry Specialist to support our Design & Engineering Department. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and update technical documentation, consolidate Bill of Materials (BOM), and generate Production Orders in SAP Business One (SAP B1). This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of engineering data, documentation workflows, and seamless coordination with the production team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter technical data, drawing references, and revision histories into registers and ERP systems.
• Consolidate Bills of Materials (BOMs) based on approved design drawings and team inputs.
• Create and maintain Production Orders in SAP Business One.
• Maintain version control and update document change logs for all design files.
• Organize and maintain drawing folders, registers, and naming conventions as per company standards.
• Collaborate with the design and production teams to verify data and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing drawing sets, transmittals, and documentation for internal or client submission.
• Archive outdated or obsolete documents systematically for future reference and traceability.
• Ensure compliance with documentation procedures and standards for audit and project review purposes.

Required Skills:

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Production, or a related technical discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience in documentation, drafting, or ERP-based data entry roles.
• Working knowledge of SAP Business One (especially in BOM and production modules).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic file management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to handling engineering data.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):

• Exposure to engineering drawings, symbols, and CAD files.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or other engineering design software.
• Experience working in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial setup.

Remuneration:

As per industry standards and candidate experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
