GCP Data Engineer (5+ Years Exp) | Hybrid - Hyderabad

Location:

Experience:

GCP Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines on
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Work with structured and unstructured data to support analytics, ML, and reporting use cases
Integrate data sources using
Python
, APIs, and GCP-native services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, etc.)
Implement data quality and governance practices using
DBT
or
Collibra
Collaborate cross-functionally with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders

Must-Have Skills:

5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
Strong proficiency in
GCP data services
(BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Composer, etc.)
Excellent Python programming skills, especially for ETL development
Hands-on experience with
DBT
or
Collibra
Strong SQL skills and familiarity with relational and cloud-native databases
Solid understanding of data modeling, pipeline orchestration, and performance tuning

Good to Have:

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
Knowledge of data security and compliance in cloud environments
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
