Essential Responsibilities:Monitor, track, and manage inventory levels.

  • Coordinate stock movements internally
  • Ensure proper documentation and timely updating of inventory records.
  • Organize and oversee the transportation of goods locally and internationally.
  • Select appropriate carriers and negotiate shipping rates and timelines.
  • Track shipments and handle any delays or discrepancies.
  • Coordinate order receipt, packing, dispatch, and delivery.
  • Ensure accurate picking and packing of orders.
  • Maintain records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and other service providers.
  • Ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
  • Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping documents like invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date logistics records.
  • Provide timely updates on logistics operations and constraints.
  • Monitor logistics costs and identify areas for cost reduction.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
  • Provide delivery updates to customers and handle logistics-related inquiries.
  • Resolve any logistics-related customer complaints promptly.
  • Use logistics and ERP software for tracking and reporting.
  • Generate reports for management analysis.
  • Manage large amounts of incoming and outgoing calls
  • Identify and assess customer's needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Attract potential customers by answering calls professionally to provide information about products and services, take / cancel orders, or obtain details of complaints
  • Suggesting information about other products and services
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism with customers and working to establish a positive rapport with every caller
  • Meet personal / customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
  • Generate sales leads and co-ordinate product delivery / shipping
  • Determining the cause of the problem and explaining the best solution to solve the problem using the right methods / tools
  • Follow up to ensure that appropriate actions were taken on customer's requests
  • Answer questions about warranties or terms of sale
  • Attempt to persuade customer to reconsider cancellation
  • Refer unresolved customer grievances or special requests to designated departments for further investigation
  • Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken
  • Should handle Marketing & Promotional activities, if required.

Qualification / Requirements:
Experience : 0-2 years Education : Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business Administration / Industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Supply Chain Management / any relevant specialization Function Area : Purchase / Quality / Supply Chain

Skills Required:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
  • Fluency in English, Tamil , Hindi & additional languages are added as an advantage.
  • An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment.
  • Ability to make more interaction with manufacturers/vendors.
  • Sound Technical knowledge & Vendor resources
  • Ability to handle pressure.
  • Attitude to learn & strong entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Highly organized and capable of multi-tasking.
  • Comfortable with Linux operating systems and other open-source software applications.
  • Ability to store and record information accurately.
  • Good social and interpersonal skills.
