Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor with 1 year of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling, and proficiency in video editing software. You will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit video content for various platforms (YouTube, social media, websites, etc.)
• Collaborate with the content team to understand project scope and objectives
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects
• Create rough and final cuts
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency
• Assist in creating storyboards and scripts for video projects
• Manage and organize digital assets

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor with at least 1 year of experience.(Prefer Digital Marketing Agency experience)
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Davinci, Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut)
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing
• Creative mind and storytelling skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field is a plus
