Job Title: Murex Technical Analyst – Mx 2.0 / MxConnect / MxOpenConnect

Location: Bangalore / Chennai / Gurgaon

Job Summary:

We are looking for a technically sound Murex Technical Analyst with hands- on experience in Mx 2.0 ( Connectivity) and MxOpenConnect frameworks. The ideal candidate should have experience in interface development , message transformation , and end- to- end integration of Murex with upstream/ downstream systems using standard protocols like XML, MQ, REST, and SFTP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interfaces using MxConnect , MxML Exchange , and MxOpenConnect .

• Analyze business and technical requirements related to trade flow, market data, and settlements.

• Configure Murex workflows, queues, tasks, and message formats for seamless integration.

• Implement connectivity solutions for trade booking, confirmations, settlement messages ( SWIFT), and market data.

• Develop and support MxML workflows , enrichers, and adapters.

• Perform end- to- end interface testing and support defect resolution.

• Integrate Murex with external systems using APIs, message queues ( IBM MQ, Kafka), or file- based mechanisms ( SFTP).

• Monitor interface jobs, troubleshoot errors, and ensure timely delivery of messages.

• Collaborate with BA, FO, BO, Risk, and external vendors for interface development and testing.

• Support UAT and production go- live for new integrations or enhancements.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5– 7 years of experience in Murex Technical roles focusing on Mx2.0 and MxOpenConnect .

• Strong hands- on experience with MxML Exchange , MxML Workflows , Databridge , and Event Packagers .

• Proficient in XML, XSLT, Java ( basic), Shell scripting , and interface configuration.

• Good knowledge of Murex trade lifecycle and standard messaging formats ( e. g., FpML, SWIFT MT/ MX).

• Experience integrating Murex with upstream/ downstream systems ( e. g., OMS, Back Office, Regulatory, Risk).

• Familiarity with Web Services ( SOAP/ REST) and tools like Postman or SOAP UI.

• Working experience in incident management , log analysis , and performance tuning.

• Exposure to GitHub , JIRA , ServiceNow , and Agile delivery models.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Murex certifications ( Technical Stream or MxML) are a plus.

• Experience with Murex 3.1 and upgrade projects is an added advantage.

• Experience with containerized deployments ( Docker/ Kubernetes) or cloud- hosted Murex environments is a plus.
