Job Description: Community Connection Manager
Location: Kannur, Nilambur
Position Overview:
The Community Connection Manager will act as the primary liaison between the diagnostic laboratory and the community, fostering relationships with healthcare providers, institutions, and local organizations to increase brand visibility, drive referrals, and enhance business growth. This role requires a strategic, proactive individual with strong networking and communication skills to build partnerships and establish the laboratory as a trusted healthcare provider in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Community Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, healthcare institutions, and community organizations.
Promote the laboratory’s services through direct engagement, presentations, and outreach programs.
Organize health awareness campaigns, diagnostic camps, and community events to drive brand awareness.
2. Referral Network Development:
Develop and maintain a network of referring doctors and consultants, focusing on increasing direct referrals.
Identify and onboard new referral partners, including general practitioners, specialists, and clinics.
Regularly review and analyse referral contributions and potential opportunities.
3. Business Growth:
Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to identify and execute strategies for revenue growth.
Develop customized outreach plans for urban and rural areas to target untapped markets.
Monitor and achieve monthly targets across B2B, B2C, and institutional channels.
4. Customer Relationship Management:
Act as the point of contact for client feedback, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
Partner with the operations team to resolve issues related to service quality, reporting errors, and delivery timelines.
5. Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyse referral data, community trends, and market potential to refine outreach strategies.
Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports on referral growth, event outcomes, and business metrics.
6. Team Collaboration:
Coordinate with the sales, operations, and marketing teams to streamline communication and achieve goals.
Support the onboarding and training of sales staff to ensure effective community engagement.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience: 3-5 years in business development, community relations, or marketing in the healthcare/diagnostic industry.
Strong understanding of diagnostic services and healthcare markets in Kerala.
Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable strategies.
Ability to travel extensively within assigned territories.
Proficiency in Malayalam and English (Hindi is a plus).

Familiarity with the cultural and healthcare landscape of Kerala.
Experience organizing medical camps, outreach programs, or community health initiatives.
