Job Description:

Overview:

● Correspond to design, fit, maintain, fabricate and deliver prosthetic legs.

● Making and reporting of work reports (like daily reports)

● Documents and maintains patient records including the details of components and

techniques used in the fabrication of the device provided

● There will be a month-long training to understand the method and operation of our

company procedure to make prosthetic legs.

● Survey and negotiate with India prosthesis part suppliers

● As clinical Prosthetic & Orthotic, participate in the advanced work like attending meeting

with medical partner

● Oversee the management and operations of a client organization engaged in providing

artificial limbs ensuring smooth transfer of knowledge and expertise in the digital

fabrication process.

● Coordinate and supervise the implementation of digital fabrication techniques, including

training and knowledge transfer to optimize the production and delivery of artificial limbs

to clients

Role & Responsibilities

● Correspond to Prescribe ,design, fit, maintain and deliver prosthetic legs

○ Patients contact part

■ Through Assessment of Patient and determine their situation and

need to evaluate his clinical condition and provide necessary

prescription.

■ Measure patients in order to design proper prosthetics

■ 3D-Scan the part of a patient’s body in order to get 3D data for a

prosthetics design

■ Design prosthetics using 3D-CAD software

■ Check and observe the fitting condition and adjust the prosthesis leg

to match with the patient by assessing movement

■ Instruct patients how to use and care for their devices

■ Repair or update prosthetics

■ Record on all required documents for all of the patients' information

■ Visit and work at a patient house for an assessment and a fitting

check.

○ Further possibility

■ Will be responsible for fieldwork – going to Home Visits or Camp Sites for

scanning stumps and fitting prosthetics.

■ Go to different places not only in Hyderabad or nearby states for work

related activity.

■ Correspond travel and delivery service and go to patient homes in a

specified span

● 3D printer operation and maintenance, data processing associated with it

○ Production part

■ Reads specifications to define type of prosthesis to be fabricated and

prepare materials and tools required

■ Download and save the data required for printing with a 3D printer on

the computer

■ Preparation for 3D printer to print prosthetic body : Material

installation, sub-materials replacement, adjust the setting like height

etc.

■ Other tasks related to production of prosthetics as assigned by the

manager and superiors.

Must Qualifications:

● With master’s or bachelor or diploma degree of Prosthetic & Orthotic

● Minimum 3 years practical experience as a Clinical Prosthetist

● Acceptable for 2-8 weeks of regular business travel across the country.

● The ability to work under strict deadlines without letting the shortage of time affect the

quality of work

● Knowledge on resolving design and functional issues arising in the course of a project

● Good verbal and written communicator in English

● Self-motivated, self-disciplined and can do the job with minimal supervision

● Standard computer skills: Word, Excel, email, online communication tools (slack, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience of fabrication of laminated socket, pin type sockets and soft insert are added

advantages.

Salary range:

● 3.25 LPA to 6.00 LPA
