Job Description

CCTV Installation & Setup Install and configure various types of CCTV cameras (Dome, Bullet, PTZ, IP). Mount cameras at appropriate locations based on site survey. DVR/NVR Configuration Setup and configure DVR/NVR systems, including recording settings, backup, and user access. Ensure proper connectivity with monitors and network. Site Survey & Planning Conduct physical surveys of the client site to assess installation needs. Plan optimal camera positioning, cable routes, and power sources. Cable Laying & Wiring Work Perform field cabling (coaxial, CAT6, etc.), crimping, and pipe/conduit fitting as required. Ensure neat and secure wiring layout during installation. Networking & Remote Access Configuration Configure IP addresses, LAN settings, router setup, and enable mobile/remote viewing. Troubleshoot basic networking issues. System Testing & Troubleshooting Test the entire CCTV system for performance and quality. Resolve field issues like camera no display, signal loss, recording failure, etc. Client Coordination & Training Explain system usage to clients (live view, playback, backup, mobile app use). Maintain professionalism during field visits. Maintenance & Service Visits Provide on-site service support and maintenance as per schedule or client requests. Replace faulty components and ensure minimum downtime. Documentation & Reporting Submit installation and service reports with photos and details. Maintain records of site visits and installed devices. Tool & Equipment Management Ensure proper handling, usage, and safety of all tools and devices during fieldwork.
