BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Educational Qualifications:

• Graduate (Master’s in English preferable)
• Desirable: Qualifications in ELT such as CELTA, Cert.TESOL, or TKT

Key Responsibilities:

1. Key Account Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for schools partnering with The English Advantage in Maharashtra.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with school administrators, English department heads, and teachers.
• Ensure seamless delivery of Cambridge English programmes and assessments at partner schools.
• Provide ongoing support to partner schools, ensuring effective implementation of TEA programmes.

2. Programme Coordination

• Oversee the day-to-day execution of Cambridge English Language Training at various partner schools.
• Ensure teachers are following the prescribed curriculum and methodology for Cambridge English Exams.
• Monitor programme effectiveness and suggest improvements based on feedback from schools and trainers.
• Facilitate student-level diagnostic assessments to align learning objectives with Cambridge English Levels.

3. Teacher Training & Mentoring

• Organize and coordinate teacher training workshops to enhance pedagogical effectiveness.
• Mentor teachers delivering the Cambridge English programme to ensure quality instruction and engagement.
• Support the Teacher Mentoring Programme by providing lesson planning assistance and regular check-ins with educators.

4. Cambridge English Assessment Support

• Facilitate smooth execution of Cambridge English Examinations, ensuring alignment with CEFR standards.
• Coordinate exam registration, scheduling, and administration at partner schools.
• Assist schools in becoming Authorised Preparatory Centres or Cambridge English Educational Partners.
• Support teachers and students in preparing for assessments, including arranging special training sessions.

5. Business Development & Promotion

• Actively promote English Language Training and Assessment Programmes to schools across Maharashtra.
• Organize informational sessions and presentations for school stakeholders on the benefits of Cambridge English.
• Identify and onboard new schools into TEA’s Cambridge English Programme.

6. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain detailed records of training sessions, assessments, and promotional activities.
• Submit daily/weekly reports on programme progress, engagement, and new business opportunities.
• Prepare feedback reports and performance analysis for partner schools and TEA management.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Passionate about English language education and assessment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with educators and school leaders.
• Experience in teaching, teacher training, or academic coordination in ELT.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills to ensure smooth programme execution.
• Familiarity with Cambridge English Qualifications and CEFR levels is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 48 per week
