About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Business Development Executive to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, promoting innovative technology, and is confident in areas like sales, cold calling, and pitching and training. You will be part of our efforts to make drone solutions more accessible and impactful across various sectors.


Responsibilities

  • Present and promote our drone technology to farmers, agri-businesses, institutions, and other drone-enthusiastic users.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and dealership opportunities.
  • Assist clients in understanding and applying for government schemes such as the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund, Drone Promotion Schemes, SMAM, and other relevant programs.
  • Handle client onboarding by managing eligibility checks, documentation, and timely follow-ups
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of projects
  • Plan and participate in product demonstrations, training sessions, and awareness initiatives
  • Conduct cold calls, engage prospects effectively, and convert leads into customers
  • Keep detailed records of interactions, progress, and performance through regular reporting
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, ensuring seamless implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, gather customer feedback, and contribute to continuous product and service improvements.
  • Maintain CRM records, generate accurate reports, and support sales forecasting.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Engineering or a related field
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in sales or business development
  • Strong interest in sales, cold calling, and client engagement
  • Good communication, relationship-building, and follow-up skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Familiarity with agriculture-related government schemes is a plus


Preferred

  • Experience working with rural communities or government departments
  • Interest in drone technology and its application in rural and agricultural development
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
