This role involves market research, client outreach, lead generation, and maintaining long-term customer relationships to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities:Identify and generate new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other lead-generation strategies.Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.Present and promote the company’s products or services to potential clients.Schedule and conduct meetings, product demos, and presentations.Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and quotations.Negotiate terms and close sales deals to achieve targets and revenue goals.Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align strategies and feedback.Maintain accurate records of business development activities using CRM tools.Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events, and conferences.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.1–3+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development.Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho).Excellent presentation and time management skills.Preferred Qualifications:MBA in Marketing or a related field.Experience in a specific industry (e.g., IT, SaaS, FMCG, or real estate).Understanding of digital marketing and lead generation tools.
