• Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, incorporating SSIS packages where applicable.
• Write and optimize T-SQL queries for data transformation, validation, and loading.
• Collaborate with the customer’s data architects to understand and modernize legacy data integration patterns.
• Perform relational database design and schema optimization for Azure SQL or Synapse targets.
• Support migration of on-premise or legacy ETL jobs into cloud-native Azure Integration Services.
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshoot data pipeline issues during sprint cycles.
• Provide support during UK overlap hours (up to 8 PM IST) to align with customer team’s collaboration windows.

• Experience migrating existing integrations to AIS
• Azure Synapse Analytics (often paired with ADF in modern pipelines)

• Data lake concepts and Azure Data Lake Gen2
• Monitoring & debugging ADF pipelines
• Integration Runtime setup and optimization
• Azure Key Vault integration in ADF
• Performance tuning in SQL Server and Azure SQL DB
• Knowledge of Delta Lake format if modern analytics is a goal
