As an Azure Data Engineer, your mission will be to lead the design and development of data ingestion processes into our Azure Databricks environment , supporting business workflows and data-sharing initiatives through modern APIs. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines in Azure. Develop and manage ETL processes to ingest, transform, and serve clean data. Ensure data integrity through validation, cleansing, and quality controls. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and errors. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (analysts, scientists, app developers). Write and optimize SQL and Python/Spark code for large-scale data handling. Drive data governance practices including cataloging, lineage, and metadata. Implement data security/privacy in alignment with policy and compliance. Stay up to date with Azure data engineering tools and industry best practices. Requirements 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure data engineering. Deep expertise in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Azure SQL, Logic Apps , and Azure Functions . Strong programming skills in Python and PySpark . Experience with Dremio , Kafka , or Snowflake is a big plus. Bonus: Experience extracting data from SharePoint Online . Hands-on experience with structured & unstructured data processing. DP-203 certification or equivalent Azure training is highly valued.
