Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
• Design and implement Cucumber BDD frameworks for behavior-driven testing.
• Perform API testing using RestAssured.
• Conduct manual testing to identify test scenarios, create test cases, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Work with TestNG for test execution, grouping, and reporting.
• Automate database validation and data verification using SQL.
• Perform cross-browser testing to ensure compatibility across different browsers.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software.
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Maven, etc.).
• Conduct performance testing using JMeter.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks for scalability and reusability.
• Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools, frameworks, and industry best practices.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in manual testing and automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver with Java.
• Experience with Cucumber framework for BDD.
• Hands-on experience with RestAssured for API testing.
• Proficiency in SQL for database validation.
• Knowledge of cross-browser testing techniques.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Good understanding of manual testing processes and techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

• Experience with API automation beyond RestAssured.
• Familiarity with TestNG framework.
• Knowledge of Python scripting for automation.
• Experience with Playwright automation.
• Knowledge of Performance Testing best practices.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
