Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Associate Director - Projects for an Architectural Firm to lead and oversee the creative direction and execution of our diverse architecture projects. As a key member of the leadership team, the Design Director will be responsible for shaping the design strategy, ensuring excellence in design delivery through systematic processes, and maintaining the firm's reputation for innovation and quality. This role involves managing design teams, collaborating with clients, and ensuring projects align with the firm’s values and global standards. Key Responsibilities: o Provide strategic and creative direction for all architectural projects, from concept to completion. o Lead the development of innovative, sustainable, and client-centric design solutions. o Establish and maintain high standards of design excellence across all projects. o Mentor and inspire design teams, fostering creativity and collaboration o Pitch in for new project pitches and client relationship building across all verticals o Oversee the design process to ensure innovation, quality, efficiency, and alignment with client goals. o Guide design development, including master planning, conceptual design, detailed drawings, and final execution. o Monitor design reviews, ensuring design integrity, budget adherence, and compliance with local laws, codes, and regulations. o Work closely with project managers to ensure that project timelines and deliverables are met. o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their vision and translating it into design solutions. o Present design concepts and proposals to clients, stakeholders, and collaborators. o Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality design outcomes and managing expectations effectively. o Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including designers, vendors, consultants, and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution. o Facilitate cross-team communication and knowledge sharing to ensure consistent design quality. o Lead and manage a diverse team of architects and designers, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and career development opportunities. o Recruit and retain top design talent to strengthen the firm’s capabilities. o Foster a positive, inclusive, and innovative work environment that encourages professional growth.
