Job Title: Assistant Professor – Computer Science & Engineering

Location: Malabar College of Engineering and Technology, Desamangalam, Thrissur, Kerala

Job Summary:

Malabar College of Engineering and Technology (MCET) is inviting applications for the post of Assistant Professor in Computer Science & Engineering. Candidates with an M.Tech/M.E. in Computer Science or allied disciplines are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about teaching, research, and contributing to the academic environment of the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science & Engineering.
• Guide students in academic projects, internships, and research work.
• Develop and update course materials, lab manuals, and lesson plans.
• Engage in academic research and publish in reputed journals/conferences.
• Participate in departmental and college-level activities.
• Assist in curriculum development and academic administration.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: M.Tech / M.E. in Computer Science & Engineering or related specialization (as per AICTE norms).
• Experience: Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
• Ph.D. holders and NET-qualified candidates will be given preference.

Desired Skills:

• Proficiency in subjects like Data Structures, Algorithms, DBMS, Operating Systems, Machine Learning, AI, Web Development, or Software Engineering.
• Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, C++, etc.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with modern teaching methods including online tools (e.g., Google Classroom, LMS, etc.)
• Research orientation and willingness to pursue further academic development.

Salary: As per AICTE / College norms and experience.
