About the role:

We are seeking a skilled Design Draftsman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong technical proficiency, and a passion for creating inspiring interior spaces. As an Interior Design Draftsman at filltered , you will play a crucial role in transforming design concepts into precise technical drawings and plans, ensuring the seamless execution of projects.

What You Will Be Doing:

Collaborate with interior designers and architects to develop preliminary design concepts and layouts.

Translate design concepts into detailed technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details using CAD software.

Ensure accuracy and compliance with building codes, regulations, and project specifications.

Prepare material and finish specifications, schedules, and quantities as required.

Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and vendors to facilitate the implementation of design plans.

Review and revise drawings based on feedback from clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.

Maintain organized project files and documentation, including revisions and updates.

Stay informed about industry trends, new materials, and emerging technologies relevant to interior design drafting.

What You Bring To The Table:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

Roles and Responsibilities

Assist senior architects in the design and development of architectural projects.

Collaborate with project teams to produce architectural drawings, plans, and specifications.

Conduct *site visits* and surveys to gather information for project planning and execution.

Support the preparation of presentations, proposals, and project documentation.

Assist in communicating with clients, consultants, and contractors to address design issues and modifications.

Qualifications

Diploma in Architecture

A minimum of 4+ years of experience. And SITE EXPERIENCE IS ALSO MUST

Proven experience working as an Interior Design Draftsman or similar role in the interior design or architecture industry.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software.

Hands-on site work is preferred, showcasing a strong understanding of on-the-ground operations.

Strong knowledge of drafting techniques, standards, and best practices.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision.

Creative problem-solving abilities and a willingness to adapt to changing project requirements.

Familiarity with sustainable design principles and green building practices is a plus.
