About the Company To support and grow the GPay (Google Pay) business line by managing partnerships, optimizing payment processes, and improving user engagement through strategic initiatives. The Deputy Manager will act as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, compliance, and innovation within the GPay ecosystem. About the Role Job Title: Area Sales Manager Location: Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Warangal, Nizamabad. Department: Payments / Digital Banking / Fintech Partnerships Experience required: 4+ years Notice Period: 15 days or Immediate Joiner Work mode: WFO only Responsibilities Partner Management: Manage and grow strategic partnerships with Google Pay and allied stakeholders (banks, payment gateways, NBFCs, merchants). Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations of GPay transactions including onboarding, issue resolution, settlement reconciliation, and compliance. Business Development: Identify and pursue growth opportunities by integrating new services, promotional offers, and payment innovations on GPay. Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, legal, and tech teams to align GPay initiatives with organizational goals. Customer Experience: Collaborate with customer support teams to resolve user grievances related to GPay payments in a timely and satisfactory manner. Qualifications Graduate Experience: 4–6 years of experience in digital payments, fintech, banking, or e-commerce. Familiarity with UPI, PPI, and digital wallet ecosystems. Required Skills Strong understanding of the digital payments landscape, especially UPI and GPay. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills. Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills Prior experience in managing relationships with Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, or other major fintechs.
