Job Summary:
We are looking for a trustworthy and proactive Accounts Officer with a strong background in school fee management, payroll coordination and statutory compliance (PF, ESI). This role requires someone field-ready, confident in handling sensitive financial matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting
· Manage school fee collection, issue receipts, and provide support to parents regarding fee structure, due dates, and counselling on payment options.
· Handle daily accounting operations: data entry, invoice generation, reconciliation.
· Process and maintain statutory compliance including PF, ESI
· Support with budgeting, petty cash, and monthly financial summaries.
Payroll & Documentation
· Run payroll processing for teaching and non-teaching staff.
· Maintain employee records, salary statements, and statutory deductions.
Field work
· Be ready to travel locally (e.g., to PF office, client sites, schools).
Reporting
· Work under the guidance of senior team members across departments (HR and Admin).
· Provide regular updates on fee collections, payroll, and statutory filings.
· Prepare data and assist with school audits, inspections, and compliance checks.

Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
· 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in school or education accounting.
· Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, MS Excel, or similar accounting tools.
· Sound knowledge of PF, ESI, and payroll processing.
· Ability to handle sensitive data confidentially and responsibly.
· Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and internal coordination.
· Must be field-ready, willing to travel for official work when required.
· Male candidates preferred (for travel-related and field assignments).
· Experience working in a school, college, or educational consultancy.
Note: Candidates who do not meet the minimum experience or are not field-ready will not be shortlisted.
Location of applicants: Hosur or Rayakottai. Hosur residents will be provided transport service at no cost.
