Accounts and MIS Executive

Job Title: Accounts and MIS Executive – Skill Development Location: Guwahati, Assam, India Employment Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities: · Maintain accurate records of day-to-day financial transactions, including expenses, receipts, and reimbursements. · Process payments, invoices, and reimbursements in accordance with internal policies and project budgets. · Prepare and maintain books of accounts, ledgers, and bank reconciliations. · Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and funding agencies. · Assist in budget tracking and financial monitoring of ongoing skill development projects. · Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, PF, and ESI, and assist with timely filing of returns. · Coordinate with project and procurement teams to validate financial documentation and ensure cost center coding. · Assist in financial audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor queries. · Maintain proper documentation and filing of all financial records (physical and digital). · Qualifications and Experience: · Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. Master’s or relevant certification. · 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance. · Proficiency in accounting software Tally ERP, Google Sheets and Excel. · Strong knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.). · Familiarity with financial compliance requirements for government or CSR-funded projects is desirable. · Good attention to detail and organizational skills. · Ability to work independently and manage multiple financial tasks.
