Whizz HR is on a look for an Accountant in Pune.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts & Finance

 Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including entries, reconciliations, and

vouchers.

 Maintain and update all books of accounts in accordance with accounting standards.

 Handle GST filings, TDS calculations and returns, and other statutory compliances.

 Prepare and support financial reports, MIS, and documentation for audits.

 Liaise with the company’s external auditors for statutory and internal audits.

 Monitor accounts receivable and payable; follow up with vendors and customers.

Technology & Communication

 Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

 Exposure to or willingness to learn tools like ChatGPT for document drafting, templates,

etc.

 Handle internal and external communications with professionalism and fluency in English.

Candidate Requirements

 Education: B.Com (mandatory); M.Com or related certification is a plus.

 Experience: 4–6 years in accounting and administration; manufacturing sector preferred.

 Technical Skills:

o Proficient in Tally, MS Office, and accounting software.

o Solid understanding of GST, TDS, and general accounting principles.

 Soft Skills:

o Fluent spoken and written English.

o Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and dependable.

o Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask.

Preferred Attributes

 Willingness to adapt to startup-style work environment with multitasking

responsibilities.

 Reliable and confident to represent the company in coordination with auditors and

vendors.
