WordPress VIP Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Ensure code follows WordPress VIP coding standards and best practices.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and security of WordPress sites.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality web solutions.
• Perform code reviews and ensure projects pass WP VIP automated checks.
• Work with APIs, third-party services, and custom integrations.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to WordPress VIP environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in WordPress development.
• Hands-on experience with the WordPress VIP platform.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
• Familiarity with enterprise WordPress architecture.
• Understanding of security best practices in WordPress.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with headless WordPress (REST API, GraphQL).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Prior experience working with enterprise clients or large-scale websites.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Slack, Bitbucket, or GitHub.
