About the role

As a Webflow Developer at Studio Carbon, your primary role will be to translate designs into fully functional websites using Webflow. You'll work closely with our design team to bring their visions to life with pixel-perfect accuracy.

Requirements

• A strong online portfolio of the latest relevant work that reflects your strengths in Web design using Webflow.
• Skilled in coding, especially in JavaScript, with a good grasp of technical concepts and the ability to solve problems effectively.
• At least one year experience of creating Webflow websites.
• UI expertise, specifically in visualising websites and enhancing the user experience.
• Mastery over micro-interactions and animated flows on Webflow.
• Basic understanding of Figma and how to convert a UI design into practical websites.
• Solid skills in prototyping and interaction design.
• Not just after temporary fixes but are seeking long-lasting solutions.
• An imaginative approach towards adopting and learning new tech such as GSAP and Three.js.
• An effective listener with good time management skills.
• Master communication skills, and the ability to deliver compelling design rationales in both client and internal contexts.
• Must possess a sense of design, enabling them to comprehend specific design decisions and approach projects with the right mindset.
• Motivated by feedback, and by the opportunity to improve in your role, in the work, and in how you work together as a team.
• A self-learner who stays informed about the latest trends and techniques in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Accurately translate UI and brand designs from Figma into fully functional Webflow websites, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation of the design team's vision.
• Create responsive implementations for multiple breakpoints and screen resolutions, maintaining design fidelity across all devices.
• Collaborate closely with designers and project managers to understand design intentions and implement them precisely in Webflow.
• Set up and manage Webflow CMS collections based on the content structure defined by the design and content teams.
• Implement complex interactions and animations in Webflow as specified in the designs, ensuring smooth and engaging user experiences.
• Optimize Webflow sites for speed, SEO, and accessibility, adhering to web standards and best practices.
• Integrate third-party tools and APIs with Webflow sites to extend functionality as required by the project specifications.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing Webflow sites, providing timely solutions and improvements.
• Develop and maintain Webflow component libraries based on the design system created by the UI team, ensuring consistency across projects and improving workflow efficiency.
• Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot Studio Carbon's website (studiocarbon.in), ensuring it remains up-to-date, performant, and reflective of our brand.
• Stay updated with the latest Webflow features and implement them in projects when appropriate and aligned with design specifications.
