Key ResponsibilitiesTrend Monitoring & Ideation: β Scan platforms daily for emerging formats, audio trends, and viral challenges. β Pitch 3β5 fresh concepts per week tailored to each clientβs brand voice and objectives. End-to-End Editing: β Assemble, trim, and sequence footage to create 15β60 sec Reels, TikToks, Shorts, and LinkedIn videos. β Integrate music, captions, stickers, and basic motion graphics for maximum impact. β Ensure all edits adhere to platform specifications and client brand guidelines. Sound & Motion Design: β Sync audio tracks, voiceovers, and SFX for seamless storytelling. β Add smooth transitions, kinetic typography, and simple animations to enhance storytelling. Collaboration & Feedback: β Work closely with content strategists, copywriters, and graphic designers to align on campaign goals. β Iterate rapidly based on internal and client feedback, delivering polished drafts within tight timelines. Asset Management & Optimization: β Organize project files, source footage, and export masters with proper naming conventions. β Optimize final exports for fast loading and high retention on each social platform. Performance Analysis: β Review post metrics (views, watch time, shares, saves) to identify top-performing formats. β Recommend tweaks to future edits for improved retention and engagement. Qualifications & SkillsTechnical Expertise: β 2+ years of hands-on editing experience in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. β Proficient with After Effects or similar for basic motion graphics and kinetic typography. β Strong understanding of social-media aspect ratios, codecs, and file specs. Creative Acumen: β Deep familiarity with Reels, TikTok, Shorts, and LinkedIn video trends. β Excellent sense of pacing, rhythm, and visual storytelling in a vertical video format. Soft Skills: β Sharp attention to detail and an appetite for experimentation. β Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet fast-paced deadlines. β Strong communication skills and openness to constructive feedback. Bonus Points: β Experience with color grading and audio mixing. β Knowledge of template-based tools (e.g., Canva, Kapwing) for quick iterations. β Prior work in D2C marketing or agency environments.
