Please note: This role is with one of our portfolio organizations based in Mumbai (Series A funded) As a Head of the Engineering team, you will be leading a core engineering core passionate team to bring higher efficiencies and a great customer experience and scaling technology infrastructure to support rapid business growth. Key Responsibilities: The VP of Engineering will lead, build, and operate exciting products with a passionate team. We are looking for someone who has developed and deployed software with a strong focus on end-user experience. and someone with proven experience and a proven track record of shipping web-scalable products. Experience with massively scalable distributed compute product architectures. Experience with micro services-oriented architectures and experience with scaling Big Data infrastructure. Experience delivering platform technology and creating an ecosystem of applications and services across multiple verticals and solution offerings Experience successfully scaling technology infrastructure to support rapid customer /data growth. Experience with fast-paced, rapidly-iterating, design-forward, product-focused companies. "Roll-up-your-sleeves" entrepreneurial, start-up attitude, team player with a record of leading and mentoring employees Candidate Experience: Desired skills BS/MS/Phd degree in engineering/technology. Ideally, 5+ years leading a small team of 50-100 members engineering team. He/she should have prior work on large-scale mobile & web complex products. Strong track record of being able to develop and set release plans, track deadlines, deliverables, resource allocations, issues/risks, and create mitigation strategies as needed to deliver quality products on time.
