Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Veterinary Food Inspection Specialist at RDS Group, based in Lucknow. The Veterinary Food Inspection Specialist will be responsible for inspecting food products of animal origin to ensure they meet safety and quality standards. Daily tasks include conducting hygiene audits, performing risk assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and overseeing the proper handling and storage of food products. The role also involves collaborating with food producers and distributors to maintain high sanitation standards. As part of our international partnership, the specialist will also be involved in the CoC process for exports, working in alignment with our Dubai-based partner to ensure compliance with international food safety norms and standards. Qualifications Expertise in food safety, quality assurance, and hygiene audits Experience performing risk assessments and ensuring regulatory compliance Knowledge of proper handling and storage of food products of animal origin Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Food Science, or a related field Experience in the food industry is a plus Familiarity with international food safety certification processes (e.g., CoC) is an advantage Show more Show less
