Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented OpsRamp Event Management Engineer to configure manage and optimize HP OpsRamp for centralized event and incident management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ITOM tools strong knowledge of event correlation and a passion for improving operational efficiency through automation and observability.

Responsibilities

Configure and maintain OpsRamp for event ingestion correlation and incident management.
Integrate OpsRamp with various monitoring tools e.g. SolarWinds Nagios Zabbix etc and ITSM platforms e.g. ServiceNow
Develop and fine tune event policies suppression rules and escalation workflows.
Implement AI based noise reduction and root cause analysis features.
Create dashboards and reports for real time visibility into infrastructure health.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure seamless event flow and incident resolution.
Maintain documentation for configurations SOPs and best practices.
Participate in on-call rotations and provide L2 L3 support for event management issues.
3 years of experience in IT Operations or Infrastructure Monitoring.
Hands on experience with OpsRamp configuration and administration.
Strong understanding of event correlation alert suppression and incident workflows.
Familiarity with SNMP Syslog APIs and cloud monitoring integrations.
Experience with scripting Python PowerShell or Shell for automation.
Knowledge of ITIL processes especially Incident and Event Management.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
