Job Description

Role Overview

The Procurement & Supply Chain Manager will lead end-to-end sourcing, purchasing, inventory management, and logistics processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in building supplier relationships, optimizing supply chain workflows, negotiating contracts, and ensuring product availability across both retail and D2C channels.

This is a strategic and hands-on role, suitable for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to help shape the company’s operations as we grow.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement

  • Develop and manage vendor relationships for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability
  • Maintain approved supplier lists and evaluate supplier performance
  • Forecast purchasing needs based on sales and inventory trends
  • Ensure timely procurement to avoid stockouts or overstocking
  • Collaborate with finance and product teams for purchase planning and budget control

Inventory & Supply Chain

  • Oversee inventory planning, stock levels, and reorder points across locations (retail + D2C)
  • Coordinate stock transfers between stores, warehouse, and fulfillment centers
  • Monitor SKU performance and aging inventory to drive optimization decisions
  • Implement inventory control systems and improve stock accuracy
  • Manage order fulfillment timelines and shipping schedules
  • Reduce lead times and ensure on-time delivery from suppliers to end customers

Logistics & Operations

  • Liaise with delivery partners, warehouse staff, and internal teams to ensure seamless last-mile delivery
  • Optimize transportation and packaging processes for efficiency and cost
  • Track and resolve delays, quality issues, or supply disruptions
  • Analyze supply chain performance and suggest process improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain, preferably in FMCG or D2C sectors
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end procurement and vendor relationships
  • Strong negotiation, planning, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, inventory management tools, and Zoho Books
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
