About the Role

Deloitte’s AI & Data team is looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist / Machine Learning Consultant to lead and deliver impactful, data-driven solutions across industries. In this role, you'll guide cross-functional teams in building robust machine learning models, apply statistical techniques to solve complex problems, and help shape AI-driven strategies for clients. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver end-to-end Data Science/Machine Learning projects across various domains.
• Collaborate with client teams and stakeholders to define business problems and translate them into technical solutions.
• Guide and manage teams comprising Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Data Engineers, and DevOps professionals.
• Design, develop, and deploy statistical and machine learning models using Python, PySpark, SQL, and relevant frameworks.
• Apply techniques like classification, regression, optimization, time series analysis, and decision trees to generate insights and drive decisions.
• Contribute to pre-sales activities, including client presentations, proposals, and solution design.
• Foster a culture of inclusion, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.

QualificationsMust-Have:

• 6–10 years of hands-on experience in Data Science and Machine Learning.
• Proven experience in leading 3–5 member teams and delivering multiple end-to-end ML projects.
• Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, PySpark and ML libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn.
• Solid grounding in statistical methods and machine learning techniques.
• Experience with cloud or on-prem model deployment, containerization (Docker), and version control (Git).
• Proficient with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good-to-Have:
