Job Summary:

Application Support Engineer

• Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 application support for internal and external clients.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to applications and databases.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data extraction, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement bug fixes, performance enhancements, and application updates.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and apply necessary optimizations.
• Ensure proper documentation of issues, resolutions, and updates for knowledge base maintenance.
• Provide training and guidance to end-users regarding application features and functionality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.
• Proven experience in

  SQL

  , including writing queries, stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of database structures, normalization, and indexing strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with incident management tools and support ticketing systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of .NET framework or other programming languages is an advantage.
