📌 Job Title: Sponsorship Coordinator

Event: SkillAura Hackathon (72-Hour Offline Innovation Marathon)

Compensation: Up to 2% of net profit from the event (Performance-based)

🔍 Role Summary:

As the Sponsorship Coordinator for SkillAura Hackathon, you will be responsible for strategizing, pitching, and securing monetary and in-kind sponsorships from brands, organizations, and local partners. Your goal is to ensure the event is financially backed, while also aligning partners with our vision of empowering young changemakers.

• 🎯 Key Responsibilities:🔗 Sponsorship Strategy & OutreachCreate a list of potential sponsors and segment them (monetary, in-kind, NGO, etc.)
• Draft personalized proposals tailored to each sponsor's brand alignment
• Reach out via email, LinkedIn, or direct contact and maintain follow-ups
• 🤝 Negotiation & Deal ClosurePresent the event pitch and sponsorship packages
• Negotiate deliverables and finalize sponsorship terms
• Coordinate signing of MoUs and brand deliverables in collaboration with SkillAura’s core team
• 📋 Sponsorship Fulfilment & Brand IntegrationEnsure all agreed sponsor benefits (branding, stalls, etc.) are fulfilled
• Work with design, content, and operations teams to integrate branding
• Manage pre-event, during-event, and post-event visibility for all partners
• 🧑‍💼 Team Leadership & DelegationBuild and manage your own sponsorship sub-team
• SkillAura will not interfere in your team building or internal distribution of tasks
• Train team members on pitch delivery, lead tracking, and sponsor coordination
• 📈 Reporting & CommunicationMaintain a detailed tracker of sponsor conversations, confirmations, and deliverables
• Provide weekly updates to SkillAura founders (Jatin & Siya)
• Share a final report summarizing contributions, outcomes, and pending items

• 📌 Key Skills Required:Strong verbal and written communication
• Strategic thinking and persuasive negotiation
• Prior experience in sponsorship or outreach (preferred)
• Team leadership and multitasking

• 💰 Compensation Details:
• A performance-based reward of up to 2% of the event’s net profit
• No fixed salary/stipend
• Sponsorship team’s contribution will be tracked, and rewards allocated accordingly post-event

• 🛑 Important Note:This is a freelance/volunteer/contract-based project-specific position
• You are expected to operate independently in terms of team recruitment, coordination, and lead management
